Victor Cantareli (Co-Founder & CEO)
A first-class graduate in Civil Engineering, Victor brings deep expertise in sustainability and a sharp instinct for innovative problem-solving. Since entering the solar industry in 2019, he has founded multiple ventures and consistently pushed boundaries to accelerate the global energy transition. At BMG, Victor leads solar sales channels across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and all Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden). With a strong commercial mindset, he specialises in high-value trading and has a keen understanding of the technical requirements across residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects. Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, Victor is a dynamic leader shaping the future of solar.
Richard Jankiewicz (Co-Founder & COO)
Richard Jankiewicz, born in Paris, is a tenacious sales expert and business developer with over a decade of experience, including three years dedicated to the solar industry across France and the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). Known internally as “Mister Negotiator,” Richard combines charm, sharp instincts, and a knack for seizing overlooked opportunities. His strengths lie in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, and unlocking market growth, always focused on long-term value and trust. He currently oversees the French, Belgium, Dutch, Luxemburg and Romanian markets. Fluent in English, Polish, and French, Richard is a high-impact operator with the agility to outmanoeuvre competitors and the charisma to bring clients along for the ride.
Stanisław Spychała (Co-Founder & CCO)
A proud Polish expat based in sunny Barcelona, Stanisław—better known as Staz—has a sixth sense for finding the right solution at the right time and price. With over six years in the solar sector, his sales finesse is rivalled only by his ability to juggle multiple deals while keeping clients happy and informed. Known for his no-nonsense approach and natural charisma, Staz is the go-to point of contact for anyone operating in the fast-moving solar space. He covers Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary), the Balkans (including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania), and Ukraine. Fluent in English and Polish (and a some Spanish), his client-first focus and ability to build relationships make him a standout performer and trusted industry ally.
Mikel Garcia Muñoz (Director of Purchasing)
Born in Bilbao, Mikel Garcia is a senior industrial engineer with over five years of experience in the photovoltaic sector. He began as a sales engineer for residential installations with Europe’s largest solar installer and went on to build and lead high-performing sales and engineering teams, eventually becoming Head of Sales and Procurement. With solid expertise in procurement, manufacturing, and distribution, Mikel is known for delivering premium products, unmatched reliability, and client-centric support. He manages operations in Spain, Cyprus, Malta, Italy, and Romania, consistently driving performance and client satisfaction. Mikel speaks English, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Portuguese, and is widely respected for his technical rigour and collaborative spirit.
Leon Hankamp (DACH Country Manager)
Leon is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, with over five years of experience across operations, commercial strategy, and business consulting. Holding a Master’s degree in International Business, he blends strategic thinking with deep operational knowledge and a hands-on understanding of the solar market. Leon’s passion for solar distribution has seen him play a pivotal role at a leading solar marketplace that took Europe by storm, where he drove sales growth and built strong client relationships across the DACH region. Now as Country Manager DACH at BMG, Leon spearheads expansion and positioning across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, he brings both business acumen and industry heart to the table.
