Few buildings start with a blank sheet. There may already be solar on the roof, a generator in the yard and machinery whose demand bears little resemblance to an average household’s. The useful question is how much of that existing investment can contribute to the next installation.

Selected Deye hybrids support scheduled battery operation, generator integration, parallel operation and AC coupling for existing solar. The SUN-5/6/8/10/12K-SG04LP3-EU datasheet brings those possibilities together in one established three-phase family.

That gives the designer several ways to answer the operating brief. Storing surplus generation, retaining an existing PV inverter and supplying selected loads during an outage are different tasks; defining their priority helps establish the equipment and controls the project needs.

Three-phase low-voltage hybrids

The SUN-5/6/8/10/12K-SG04LP3-EU family combines low-voltage battery operation with support for unbalanced three-phase loads and configurable charging periods. For residential and smaller commercial work, it offers an architecture worth investigating where demand varies between phases or throughout the day.

High-voltage commercial hybrids

The SUN-100/125K-SG02HP3-EU-GM8/GM10 range takes hybrid operation into larger commercial installations. Multiple PV tracking inputs, high-voltage battery connections and scheduled charging give the project team more scope to work with substantial generation and storage.

At this scale, the battery’s power capability, the site’s loads and the intended operating modes belong in the same equipment decision.

String inverters and microinverters

Where storage is outside the scope, Deye also offers conventional string inverters and module-level microinverters. The official portfolio spans several conversion architectures, allowing the enquiry to follow the application.
