Power conversion with an infrastructure perspective
As solar and storage become central to how buildings and electricity networks operate, power electronics take on a larger responsibility. They connect generation to demand, manage the movement of stored energy and help the system respond to changing conditions.
Sungrow approaches that responsibility across an unusually broad range of applications. Its portfolio runs from residential hybrids and modular batteries to commercial storage and major utility installations.
For professional buyers, that creates a connection between the equipment for an individual building and the engineering of a much larger energy system.
Scale with a substantial European presence
Sungrow reports more than 1,000 GW of installed power electronic converters worldwide by December 2025 in its European company profile. Active in Europe since 2011, it has developed regional offices, research capability, training and service operations, with its European headquarters in Munich.
For a buyer, that presence earns attention when the equipment decision has a long horizon. Commissioning knowledge, documentation and access to technical support all form part of the environment in which an energy asset will operate.

SH hybrid inverters
Sungrow’s SH families provide hybrid inverter options for residential and larger three-phase installations. The SH5T–SH25T platform, for example, covers several power classes and is supported by detailed installation and operating documentation.
The selection should follow the building’s phase arrangement, load requirements, battery configuration and intended backup functions.
SBR and SBH battery systems
SBR and SBH are high-voltage lithium iron phosphate battery families with modular construction. They offer different capacity and power characteristics within the Sungrow storage portfolio.
The SBH range, for example, supports modular capacity configurations and approved parallel arrangements. The current inverter and battery documentation establishes the permitted combination and operating limits.
PowerStack for commercial storage
PowerStack 255CS brings liquid-cooled storage into commercial and industrial applications. Its integrated cabinet approach gives the project team a defined equipment architecture around which to develop the installation.
Here the purchasing discussion begins with the operating objective: managing peaks, shifting energy between periods or serving a defined continuity requirement. Power, usable energy and the expected duty cycle establish the scope.
Utility power conversion and PowerTitan
Sungrow’s wider portfolio includes utility PV equipment and large energy storage systems. Its PowerTitan solutions belong in a project-level discussion covering grid requirements, controls, integration and the planned operating model.
BMG can investigate the equipment supply and connect the commercial enquiry with the relevant manufacturer and specialist input.
Buy for the operating life of the system
The first comparison is usually price and specification. The next concerns how the equipment will be commissioned, monitored and supported.
For commercial storage, a purchasing schedule should also establish the boundaries of the package: conversion and battery equipment, controls, communications, site interfaces and the commissioning responsibilities. Those details affect the cost of completing the installation and the team’s ability to put it into service.
BMG helps bring those decisions into the commercial plan. We can source the agreed equipment, clarify what each offer includes and coordinate supply with the project’s readiness to receive it. Across several sites, that can mean common equipment schedules, agreed variations and phased arrivals.
The result is a clearer commitment: the project team knows what is being purchased, when it is required and which supporting work must be in place.
Warranty and support
Sungrow’s warranty resources organise terms by country and product. Residential equipment, commercial storage and utility systems have different coverage schedules; the relevant terms should accompany the selected equipment and project scope.
For equipment supplied by BMG, we assist with purchasing records and the appropriate manufacturer service route. Retain the serial numbers, commissioning information and system records so that an enquiry can follow the installed asset accurately.
