Solis
Inverter expertise you can build a business around
An installer needs equipment that makes sense across a working week: the straightforward rooftop, the customer adding storage, the commercial building with a more demanding electrical brief.
Solis has built a broad inverter portfolio around those changing requirements. Its appeal combines a long specialist history with a substantial choice of power classes, system architectures and practical technical resources.
For a business looking for a platform it can understand thoroughly and apply repeatedly, that depth has real value.
Two decades of power conversion
Solis is the inverter brand of Ginlong Technologies, founded in 2005. Its 20th-anniversary programme marked the development of a business serving residential, commercial and utility generation, alongside an expanding storage portfolio.
For an installation business, expertise earns its place in the service diary. Clear commissioning guidance, diagnostic information and a known escalation route can help a technician prepare the next visit and give the customer a more informed answer.
Choose the inverter around the installation
Single-phase hybrid storage
The S6-EH1P(3–10)K-L-PLUS family combines single-phase operation with low-voltage battery integration. Its supported functions include generator integration and coupling with existing grid-connected PV equipment.
For residential and selected smaller applications, it gives installers several routes into solar-plus-storage, using the current battery matching information to establish the combination.
Three-phase commercial hybrids
The S6-EH3P(30–50)K-H range serves higher-power commercial storage requirements. Its architecture includes four maximum power point trackers and two independently controlled battery ports.
These are useful features when a commercial roof has several array sections and the storage requirement needs to be developed around the building’s operation.
String inverters for generation projects
Solis also offers a broad range of single- and three-phase string inverters for installations where the immediate requirement is solar generation. The technical catalogue covers small rooftop models through to substantial commercial and utility products.
Match the inverter to the proposed strings, phase arrangement and grid requirements, then select the monitoring and control equipment that belongs with it.
A support resource worth bookmarking
Solis’s service knowledge base is a useful part of the ownership proposition. It includes commissioning information, battery matching, monitoring guidance, firmware topics and fault investigation.
For an installation business, accessible information has a commercial value of its own. A team can prepare before going to site, investigate an unfamiliar symptom and make a more precise support enquiry. SolisCloud adds system monitoring to that working environment.
The opportunity is to build a service process around the equipment: clear commissioning records, accessible system information and a known route for issues requiring manufacturer input.
Keep purchasing in step with the diary
BMG supports that repeatable approach with trade replenishment and project supply. We can work from the models your team already uses, source the associated monitoring equipment and plan quantities around the work ahead.
When availability changes, a replacement reference deserves a deliberate comparison. We help establish what the proposed alternative means for the equipment schedule, cost and delivery date, while your technical team confirms its suitability. For larger commercial orders, we can coordinate the supply package and arrival stages around the installation programme.
Warranty terms that match the market
Solis publishes regional policies. Its UK policy for products manufactured from 1 July 2025 gives the listed grid-connected and energy-storage inverters a five-year standard term, with separate terms for off-grid products, accessories and extensions. Supply-channel eligibility and the destination form part of the applicable conditions.
For other markets, use Solis’s regional warranty information and the terms supplied with the equipment.
For equipment supplied through BMG, we assist with the order documentation and service enquiry. Solis’s service team assesses the product and the appropriate warranty remedy.
