Financing & Commercial Support
Keep the next job within reach.
A healthy order book can put a business under pressure. Equipment must be paid for before installation is complete, while the customer’s next payment may depend on the very work that purchase makes possible.
BMG Solar helps professional customers shape the commercial arrangements around that gap. We bring purchasing terms, selected customer credit and specialist funding relationships into the discussion, so a worthwhile contract can leave room for the next opportunity.
Find the gap before filling it
We begin with the dates and amounts: the equipment deposit, the balance before release, freight and other purchase costs, and the payments expected from your customer. For a programme with several sites, we consider how those commitments overlap.
This often reveals a more specific requirement than “finance”. The pressure may fall between two project milestones, arise from purchasing several phases together, or come from holding inventory before the next sale. Each calls for a different arrangement.
Understanding the gap gives the commercial discussion a purpose. It also helps establish how much flexibility is useful and for how long.
Let the purchase do some of the work
The first opportunity may be within the order itself. We can negotiate deposits and balances, investigate staged purchasing, or bring several confirmed requirements into a larger supplier discussion.
For example, equipment for three installation phases may be secured within one commercial agreement, with separate release dates and payment obligations. That can preserve the buying strength of the programme while reducing the amount paid before the equipment is needed.
We make those obligations explicit. A staggered delivery schedule only changes the cash requirement if the payment arrangement changes with it. Your team should know what becomes payable when the order is signed, when equipment is reserved and before each release.
Match the funding to the job
For established customers with an agreed credit facility, trade credit provides time to pay for an equipment purchase. It can help bridge the interval between receiving goods and collecting the related customer payment.
A larger investment programme has a different funding question. Through specialist finance partners, we help customers explore equipment finance and project funding structured around the asset, the project and the business undertaking it.
We give that discussion a concrete supply case: the equipment to be purchased, the basis of the supplier commitment, the payment stages and the delivery programme. A funder can see how the proposed capital will be used and which commitments depend on its availability. The project team can see when a funding decision is needed to retain a production slot or proceed with an order.
The finance partner assesses and structures the funding. We keep the procurement case current as that work progresses, so the proposed financing and the purchase it supports develop together.
See what flexibility costs
We compare the complete arrangement: equipment price, deposits, payment dates and any financing charges. An early-payment saving and the value of retaining cash can then be considered in the same decision.
The aim is a purchase your business can carry comfortably through the work, with enough capacity left to keep moving.
